Schedule: Full Time 32 hours per week, varying shift start times: 6:30a, 8a and 10:30a. Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the hospital due to required call response time. Will have 1 day of call per week and work 1-2 holidays per year.

Job Summary and Qualifications
Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU)/Post Ambulatory Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN)
Under the umbrella of Surgical Services, we are seeking an experienced Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU)/Post Ambulatory Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. In this role you will demonstrate independence in planning, organizing, administering, and evaluating patient care. In addition, you will recognize and utilize your skilled nursing techniques for the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient, including pre-admission testing, post-op recovery, and discharge.
What qualifications are required:
Located in Derry, NH, Parkland Medical Center is a regional acute-care hospital offering 86 beds and a Level III Trauma Center. HCA Healthcare owns the facility, along with three other hospitals, two freestanding emergency rooms, an ambulatory surgery center, and an urgent care center in New Hampshire. - On our team, you will provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Recognize and respond to changes in a patient’s condition.
- You will provide assessment and care of the pre-op, phase II recovery, anesthesia block, bariatric and outpatient procedural patients.
- Demonstrate knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology for child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient
- Provide safe medication administration including use of venous access devises.
- You will demonstrates proficiency in IV insertion.
- Assist physician with outpatient procedures using aseptic technique.
What qualifications are required:
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License
- BLS required
- ACLS and PALS certifications
- Ambulatory Care and/or PACU experience preferred
