Registered Nurse RN Heart and Vascular
Full Time- Nights 7p-7a
Our inpatient Heart and Vascular floor provides a full service cardiovascular program for our patients. We provide care to a variety of patients including acute Cardiac diagnosis and treatment, pre and post Heart and Vascular procedures, recovery of post CABG as well as ICU and CVICU step down. Our busySociety of Chest Pain Centeraccredited 30 bed unit has a team oriented group of caring clinical professionals including a Nurse Educator and a helpful group of Patient Care Techs. We are looking for RN’s that are interested in advancing their career caring for wide range of cardiovascular patients.

As an Heart and Vascular RN you will Deliver professional nursing care to patient populations in the Heart and Vascular Center which include but are not limited to general cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, stroke and other complex disease states with cardiac and vascular co-morbitities. Performs assessments, follows standards of care and disease specific protocols utilizing the Nursing Process in delivery of care.

Required Job Qualifications include:
One year of recent experience in a telemetry monitored unit Preffered
Current Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted.
Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
BSN is highly preferred.
