Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Seasonal HealthONE Division Float Pool Registered Nurse for Pediatric /PICU units, you will be part of an amazing group of 7 Denver metro area hospitals that include: The Medical Center of Aurora, North Suburban Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, Rose Medical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center and Swedish Medical Center.
The Seasonal Float Pool RN will utilize the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes and communicate need for guidance/supervision based on self-assessment of strengths and limitations. Promotes a positive image of nursing and promotes collegiality among healthcare team members.
Seasonal Float Pool RNs are required to work the following:
Weekly 3 – 12 hour shifts, weekend commitment, holiday requirement, and demographic location determined by the Seasonal Staffing Program criteria HealthONE Float. Pool.
Seasonal HealthONE Float Pool employees will be required to float to 3-6 of the HealthONE facilities. l Nurses will be scheduled in units in which they have competencies. Nurses can be placed in a unit below their competency level with a modified assignment.

- You will be part of an elite group of experienced nurses supporting staffing needs throughout the HealthONE Denver metro hospital system.
- You will bring your expertise to the following specialty areas: Pediatric / PICU.

What qualifications you will need:
- Required to have a compact RN license or Colorado RN license accepted upon hire
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Graduate of a certified School of Nursing
- Minimum of at least one year of RN experience in acute care
