RN Float Pool Med Surgical FT Nights 7p-7a (Rotating Weekends)

Our Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way. As part of our elite RN Resource Float Pool, you will be lending your knowledge and experience to Medical Surgical departments within Medical City hospitals. Meeting new colleagues, observing various techniques, and gaining experience at different facilities will add to the upward momentum of your RN journey. What You Will Do In This Role

You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, following standards of care and disease specific protocols.

You will plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN’s scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.

You will provide education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporate patient / family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.

You will be a resource for our Medical City hospitals in the East Pod: Dallas, Denton, Frisco, Las Colinas, Lewisville, McKinney, and Plano.

You will be at your assigned hospital for a duration of 12 weeks at a time.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse Texas State License or Compact State License required
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
