This position requires you to be onsite for each shift at our HealthONE Division office in Denver

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Virtual Registered Nurse demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills and understands the unique aspects of the population served in the care of his/her patients. Will utilize the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes and communicate need for guidance/supervision based on self-assessment of strengths and limitations. Promotes a positive image of nursing and promotes collegiality among healthcare team members. The Registered Nurse may rotate to areas other than his/her assigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency.





What you will do in this role:



  • You will identify and individualize patient goals. You will compare expected and achieved outcomes of nursing care utilizing the plan of care (POC) consistent with the patient’s status, and then formulate, individualize, and modify patient plan of care.
  • You will complete assessments of patient’s/significant others’ response to illness, the use of coping mechanisms and emotional needs, and incorporates family/significant other into plan of care and reflects the plan of care is individualized for each patient.
  • You will recognize and report errors and unusual occurrences. You will analyze and identify precipitating factors.
  • You will recognize and respond to crisis situations. You will notify appropriate individuals of actual or impending crisis.
  • You will report and document patient's symptoms, responses, and progress. Interventions are appropriate to patient’s symptoms, responses, and progress.


What qualifications you will need:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license required at time of hire.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at time of hire.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required at time of hire.
  • Graduate of a certified School of Nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of at least two years of RN experience in critical care setting required.
  • Demonstrates good organizational skills.
  • Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Values & Standards of Nursing Practice.
  • Displays appropriate judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.


This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
