Job Summary and Qualifications

This is a Full Time Nights position, rotating weekends

Our Main Operating Room consists of 10 Suites with a focus on Trauma, Ortho and GYN as well as general surgical procedures. Our tenured staff of PACU RN’s assist our highly qualified and caring Physicians in a wide variety of cases. We have da Vinci Robotic assisted surgery as well as an Outpatient unit. • Provides safe and effective care of the post-anesthesia patient, collaborating with nurse managers, physicians, technicians, and allied health practitioners
• Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for both the recipients and providers of nursing care
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and make decisions under pressure
• Follows standard of care utilizing nursing process for care delivery

Required Job Qualifications include:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Compact license is accepted.
• Associate's Degree required, Bachelors preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at start
• PALS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 90 days of hire
• Must have recent experience in PACU Nursing of at least 1 year. or 1 year ICU experience
• Hospital based OR experience is highly preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
